I think Tony might take him out to be honest. Beneil is pretty sloppy when he starts to gas out. Tony might catch him late as beniel has shown he can be put out.
It’s an even matchup and largely depends if the Tony we know and love pre-Gaethje can show up. If so then it’s not Tony’s toughest night. But if not then it could be the end of his days at the top.
This fight is to tell if Tonys washed or if Justin G and Oliveria just happened to both be that good. Think they want Tony to get a win so they can keep an entertaining fighter in the UFC and have another opponent for the top LW's. Cause if Tony loses this might be the end.
Just a great matchups, Beneil deserves someone of Tony's stature, and Tony needs a tough in his prime contender to see if he can still have any place at the top, that is worthy to fight a name like his.
Tony seems in a good place right now (i.e. He hasn't done much weird shit lately). Dariush is a beast though, especially when his mental capacity doesn't escape him briefly during the fight.
My prediction: I have no fucking clue, but it should be fun to watch.
Huge fight for both. Tony at age 37 could be on the downward Woodley train and Dariush could be about to put himself in title contention for the first time ever at age 32 even though it feels like he's been around as long as Tony has. I love both guys but I'm rooting for Dariush. I don't want to see Tony short circuit anymore
