Don't child killers normally get hell off the other inmates and guards?
Death Row inmates are segregated. They are kept in 23 hour lockdown. Some are allowed cellmates. Depends on the institution.

21 year old working at a carnival sleeping with 35 year old single mom? His life was going nowhere fast. Dude was probably desperate and would've put a gun in his mouth at age 30. I think that would've been the preferred scenarioIn July 1985, when he was 21 years old, Sells was working at a carnival in Forsyth, Missouri. There he met Ena Cordt, 35, who had brought her 4-year old son to the carnival as a treat.
There has got to be a better, more subtle way to deal with that situation. If it was me I would've just raped her.According to Sells, he had sex with Cordt, but awoke during the night to find her stealing from his backpack. Seizing her son's baseball bat, he beat her to death.
The really messed up part is that Texas (and surrounding Southern states) are where its imposed the most.
If nationwide, if there's a 10:1 ration of executions to exonerations and it takes 15-20 on average to prove these guys innocent, then there's a good chance that the ratio is closer to 5:1 and they've sent executed dozens of innocent men.
We've already had people wrongly executed in the past (Timothy Evans and Derek Bentley being two notorious cases), so I'm pretty damn glad European legislation outlaws it.
