Good point, but you're thinking like someone who knows how to write, who knows the rules of capitalization, which many on social websites do not. While I am among the educated in this way, I definitely do not assume that everyone else is on social websites, so if I see LEO, for example, I might think that the person meant the zodiac sign because maybe they don't know how to write it the proper way, being "Leo".
