Both guys had that All-American war hero angle that the promotions like to play up. Both were Top 10 Middleweights at their peak who didn't manage to move beyond gatekeeper status by securing a lasting Top 5 slot.
Assuming the prime version of each, who takes it? I'm open to discussions of what constitutes either guy's respective "prime". For my purposes, I'm assuming it's Stann fresh off his TKO over Jorge when he's on a 3-fight win streak and Tim after taking Bisping to a decision which put him on a 4-fight win streak.
