Rewatched this movie recently, it might be my favorite Speilberg movie ever, and that's saying something.

Top 10 movie of all time

Masterpiece, once in a lifetime moment. If you didnt watch it in the theatre when it came out, you have no idea. We had not seen anything like this done before. All of our childhood favourite dinos came to life and that scene really got us ramped up for what was to come.

Everyone in the theatre legit gasped...a few screams...mainly just sounds of astonishment. I'll never forget that moment.

Legendary.

Great acting when you consider they are acting to just a prop in front of a green screen.

10/10. You really felt the wonder of what you were seeing. And felt the characters' wonder.

Which is the polar opposite of how it is in the World movies. Where's it's just a bunch of mind numbing nothingness strung together.

unpopular opinion. The acting is the weakest part of the entire film, all Jurrasics tbh. Meme-worthy at best.

BD Wong and Attenborough had some decent moments.

9 because the CGI is dated but realistically 10.

It’s the big reveal, when Sam Neil, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum are shown that what’s the guy’s name has actually cloned real dinosaurs.

It’s a great scene. But the CGI didn’t age well. I wish they had done it with animatronics somehow.

The only thing making this less than a masterpiece is the suspension of disbelief factor.

Not that there is a dinosaur in 1994, but that the crew practically drives next to the largest dinosaur without noticing it’s presence.

I feel that Spielberg designed this only for the WOW factor, and the one liners. Like he had to fit in the big ass dinosaur and “Welcome to Jurassic Park.”, but didn’t make the rest of the scene realistic.

When the shark is revealed in Jaws while Chief Brody is chumming, that was a perfect scene because it was realistic. When the dinosaurs are revealed in Jurassic park, just not believable in any universe.

Very powerful sound track that perfectly accompanied the scene as well.

It's decent but nothing compares to the remade scene in the newer movie where they did the same thing. JP1 has outdated AI and needs more cartoon octopusses.
