I notice that everyone from that camp isn’t adverse to brain farts or just poor game plans and also bad cardio. I believe a lot of them spar pretty hard too.

Luke Rockhold’s been sharpening up his kickboxing there for several camps now and he still hasn’t learned to keep his hands up yet.

He had another guy, Ismail Naurdiev who kept throwing the same body kick and getting caught and taken down.

Rumble Johnson going for that ill advised takedown against Rumble and then his corner abandoned him.

A lot of his fighters have holes in their wrestling game and a lot of them tend to have bad BJJ.

I could name plenty more people from that camp that cant piece things together, except for Usman.

Rockhold had the same issues at ATTACH for almost a decade. Is AKA a shitty camp as well?

Hoofts best advice mid fight

"Don't give up! Don't give up!"

Yes for a gym that has kickboxing in it most of their fighters can’t even kick

I dont think it's a very good camp. You can sharpen your stand up skills there for sure but I don't think it will change your habits and tendencies. Luke has paid for keeping his hands low in the past and this time it was no different.

...anybody seen how they are sparring over there?
...guys are trying to kill each other...and he is standing right next to them...kinda cheering them on.

I notice it too, but it's odd considering the wrestling coaches at 365. Don't know much about the younger black dude, but the older head was head off ATT's wrestling program. He followed Robbie to 365. He's the coach Joanna was crying about when Ariel asked Joanna a question about one of her coaches leaving at the UFC 211 post fight press conference.

Edit: Kami Barzini

I think they have good talent and coaching for the individual arts. I think they may need structure, and a dedicated MMA coach, or at least someone to head the program who doesn't have a personal bias towards a specific martial art.

Its not only "keeping hands low". Rockhold, like many other MMA guys, does not know how to strike.
Sure he can throw one kick after another one in training but having a strategy for a fight demands more. He does not analyse his foes first, he does not deliver combinations, he has no footwork etc...he throws one big power shot after another one, sorry but its not the way it works.
If an old amateur like me can see it, i dont get how his coachs dont do better with him.
Plus the guy was considered a slow starter, they asked him to go hard quickly last saturday. Still he did not have a clue what to do, delivering one hard kick after another one, not caring about the effect of those on his foe. He also spends too much energy forcing TD. Thats truly a shame to be so gifted, cause he is really, and to deliver so pityful performances. Eventually i agree with TS but for different reasons. His team did not help much cause he needs fight IQ support and they seem to be unable to deliver ghat

Hooft looks like your typical Dutchy idiot who cant be bothered to think outside his kickboxing frame of mind.

Well he could keep his hands up as a starter

Probably overrated but muh dutch kickboxing.

Rumble was being dumb when he had that rematch with DC
It was clear that he wasn't following his game plan

Luke is just dumb and keeps his hand low.. he can train at Jackson's for all I know he'll fight the same way and will get KO'd
