This is how Khamzat is gonna be against Costa.

The best part about it is how since that fight Khamzat fans try to make Burns out to be some one shot KO artist, pure destroyer.

Yet the only person he's finished with strikes at 170 was 42 year old Demian Maia. Outside of that all the other 40 year olds he fought (Woodley, Wonderboy, Masvidal) all went the distance with him.
 
Rumble got strangled by a WW. Imagine what Phil Davis, Bader, Gus, Glover, Arlovski ect will do to him

He is a former lightweight though. That is a documented fact. He can both be a legitimate top guy at 170 and a former lightweight.

However he isn't and never has been a dangerous stand up guy or a KO artist at 170 like Khamzat fans pretend. He goes the distance with washed 40 year olds.

Usman was hurt exactly Khamzat by Gil’s punches. And he was just as scared of his bjj as well.

I‘m not a fan of any of them, nor costa. But using the LW excuse, we can easily discredit LHW div for losing ao badly to WELTER WEIGHT Rumble Johnson (RIP) that he earned 2 title shots. Arlovski is is an even bigger bum for a HW losing to same said WW.

Everybody including Usman didnt dare touch that gaurd.

Khamzat is a former welterweight so him losing at middleweight is nothing.

The difference is Rumble was never a welterweight. He used to kill himself getting down to that weight and couldn't make the weight reliably, much like Khamzat at 170 but even worse. He even missed weight for the weightlclass above.

Gilbert was not that at 155. He was a bigger guy at the weightclass but not a giant or a guy that was significantly bigger than all of his opponents. Whereas at 170 he's been significantly smaller than everybody he's fought.

I wouldn't put too much stock in his power because he rocked Usman. Usman's chin is shit. He was rocked multiple times by Colby across both their fights and Colby can't bust a grape.

He is a former lightweight, that is a fact. He is also a legitimate welterweight, that is also a fact. People only bring up a fighters former weight class when they want to shit on another fighter. Gilbert can beat anybody in the welterweight division. He lost to Usman, but he showed that he could beat him and be champion.

Burns is a better striker and he can land. the same cant be said about the T-rex arm hack
