The champion of the largest organizations in the Netherlands and Romania. He still hasn't corrected his defense. He will fight next month for the K-1 Cruiserweight Title against Liu Ce.

Liu Ce is a fierce fighter who is training under Wei Rui, an elite sanda kickboxer.

Big step up in competition.

There is no greatness in fighting in the Netherlands expect for elite prospect against elite prospect which is rare. You've got to seek fights abroad to make a name for yourself. Look at Nabil Haryouli the morrocan fighter, besides being a knockout artist and a crowd sensation he didn't fight in One or Glory, neither in Rise or K-1.

Of course Thian is 28-0 with 25 Ko. It's a good record, but it was not against worldclass competition. Kickboxing being less competitive at heavier weight class helps a bit. Liu Ce didn't lose since 2021 ans is on a 10 fights win streak.

A great fighter for sure.

Can't say I'm a big fan of his style, but Liu Ce also isn't anything to write home about, so it's a good matchup and should be exciting considering how many holes they both have. I'd really like to see Thian go to GLORY at some point, so taking time to develop against the relatively weaker LHWs in Asia should be really good for him. Someone like Bahram Rajabzadeh or Sergej Maslobojev would steamroll him in his current form, but he's only 23, so he has plenty of time

For some of us it's a surprise to see a solid Chinese, almost heavyweight, built by Wei Rui as a lower division fighter. Both are less proven, but I suspect it's about the title and the higher ranking between them.

Tarzan has his own marketing, but Liu Ce by nature I think he would be like a Drago of kickboxing if he made his debut in the West and maintained an aura of a champion.

I like both. However I notice, maybe I'm wrong, that De Vries has a slightly different body now and still takes punches from average or even weak fighters. Even so, Tarzan is very solid, and I'm curious about Liu Ce's test.

Liu Ce won the K1 HW GP KOing all of his opponents in impressive fashion and has been undefeated. One of the greatest prospects in kickboxing right now

He can KO Thian for sure, but likewise, Thian can catch him as well. Neither of them are the most technical fighters. Liu Ce's best win is against an old and weathered Ariel Machado, calling him one of the best prospects in Kickboxing is a bit of a stretch imo; the K-1 HW GP he won was incredibly weak. I don't think he would fare very well against most of the HWs in GLORY (at least in his current form), for example.

De Vries was caught again, but survived once again. None of his opponents are established top 10.

He doesn't remind me of inexperienced Adegbuyi, who has two knockouts suffered early against some great athletes. Benny wasn't exposed at all against modest opponents and looked sensational physically. De Vries' physical fitness now seems questionable too.

Yasin Güren is a mediocre opponent. Sattari took the beatings of the world and was coming off an 0-3 run. They both exposed him. And he sometimes moves in the ring as if he's swimming. From the beginning.

Definitely a talent but he's fighting or wasting his time in a lower league. I personally believe that if he didn't fight at 85 in Glory, at 95 he would have problems with El Bouni too.

He's fun if we keep the proportions.

De Vries and Liu Ce certainly have weaker resumes, but they are on a winning streak, so only if they test themselves will we know where they stand.

Because none of them take any risks in matches. They are almost in 99% of cases clear favorites on the sheet.

After seeing him get dropped by Sattari, Liu Ce would KO him in round 1

He is an elite fighter, but his weightclass is 80-85kg.
