Thiago Silva just scored the biggest victory of his life -- prosecutors DROPPED all of the charges against the ex-UFC star stemming from an alleged domestic violence incident earlier this year that ended with a S.W.A.T. team standoff.

As we previously reported, Silva was arrested in South Florida February 6th after rolling up to an MMA studio and allegedly pointing a gun at his wife.

He was initially charged with attempted murder -- but that charge was quickly thrown out. Instead, Silva was hit with two counts of aggravated assault with a firearm.

But TMZ Sports has learned ... prosecutors decided to nuke those charges as well -- which means Silva is essentially off the hook.

He will be signed by Bellator, WSOF or OneFC very soon. Bellator woudl be best option.
 
Thiago Silva could sign for Bellator or any other Spike programming to be honest.
 
Pretty much everyones thoughts. He will replace Vegh in Bellator
 
His team and management is affiliated with WSOF. So i'd bet he ends up there.
 
WSOF-bound for sure, and he will eventually get picked back up by the UFC.

Despite looking out-of-shape against Feijao his striking looked so much better than it used to.
 
I'm not sure Bellator will sign him.

Yes, charges dropped, but really because the key witness in the case was uncooperative and has fled the country. They weren't drop because he was innocent. Plus add in failed drug test.


I see WSOF or Titan taking a shot on him though.

Well at least he did not come up with some excuse.
 
Great news for Thiago. Hope he lands in Bellator, a fight with Rampage would be a war. I've been waiting years for that one.
