Ariel used to do this exact same bs. He did it with tito when he fought Bader. Tito said " Bader takedown defense isn't the greatest, he is easier to takedown than people think."

So Ariel took that as tito saying Bader doesn't have good wrestling, and he called his big nose out for it. They learn from the best I guess

lots of ariel haters out there imo

That reporter wasn't even Ariel...you made a post abt Ariel and he has nothing to do w that comment. You're going out of your way to attack him for no reason

No I'm just pointing out this is the same thing he used to do all the time. But he got praised for it, and they would be labeled as the " hard questions" or " questions people didn't have the balls to ask"

Ariel Helwani is a little weasel... like a grown ferret.

ariel is a terrible journalist.

he tries to phrase his questions in a certain way to instigate beef between people.

then does the "oh my god this is what he said about you ! whats your response to something like that ?! "
I'm waiting for the day where he poses a question to a fighter and they straight put him down with one shot. It's got to be soon.

Francis straight up owned that clowned. This is clearly an example of media putting words in his mouth and he wasn't about to take it.
People in France are all in on Gane and they feel like Francis turned his back on the nation that built him as an MMA fighter. The media are now taking shots and Ngannou is way too smart to fall for that shit.

I know the reporter is French, but Francis' command of English grammar (in addition to French) and the nuance of the language is probably much better than a lot of native speakers. Dude is way smarter than people want to give him credit for.

Ariel himself has stated that he wanted to get big in sports journalism, and picked MMA because there was no established "mainstream" media figures. No wonder he is shit no other sport would tolerate him, but we tolerate people like "the" schmo

That question was lame and the way Francis answered was quite perfect.
