Conor and Khabib, did they go too far in their Twitter beef?

Hello Sultans of Fistfights, I hope you get to my questions before @Frank McEdgar turns this into an adults-only podcast.

* So why was DJ and Alvarez fighting giants?

* Has Eddie declined, or are we seeing a new WEC-esque lightweight division in ONE?

* Ant, I know this hurts, but we got to talk about Branch getting choked out in less than a minute. How does this happen to a Renzo Gracie black belt? Why does the world not make sense anymore?

* You know, I always loved Aoki, but the guy really is a rambunctious scoundrel. Still I can't help but to cheer for him. Are there any fighters who are unsavory but you guys can't help but to love? NOTE: You're not both allowed to pick Rampage.

The Trenches poll is up for the show tonight, asking if Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov went too far in their recent Twitter beef?

The last option fits it perfectly . I dont care much about any of them tbh in fact Conor went too far but who the hell cares ? It wont change the fact that the last time when Conrad MacDonald insulted Khabib religion / traditions he got dominated & had nothing for Khabib even after trying every cheating book in the move.

Thoughts on the UFC on ESPN 3 madness ? First the change of headliner (From Costa to Jacare) , turns out that Costa allegedely failed a PED test , Costa denies it , Change of venue and city , Now Romero pulls out of the rematch due to sickness and Costa steps in.

The UFC is a grade A circus. And I barely care anymore. So I certainly don’t care about children flaming eachother online. They can both fuck off for all I care.

Their job to to try to either beat another man unconscious, choke a man until he quits or becomes unconscious, or bend another mans joints until his bone breaks or he quits. I supposed to he outraged that they made mean posts on the internet? Nah, much ado about nothing. Ive read mean comments about me on the internet and ive lost fights. I preferred reading the mean comments.

Conor and Khabib, did they go too far in their Twitter beef?

Thank you, and please be respectful. We appreciate it.

Conor overdid it again and metaphorically tapped like chicken by deleting tweets.

In other words, they should just get Chris Camozzi his third fight vs Jacare because he's the only one who shows up.

You mean like how DJ(white belt) made Wilson Reis (black belt) tap out? Been a Gracie or trained by them isn't a huge deal in the current MMA world since a lot of techniques are melded to setup for a specific finish.

I would like to ask though, should UFC management be using a censorship model for all fighters and their camps on what can and can't be approved for Twitter posting? If a fight camp or manager who handles the accounts posts something without clearance by UFC what should the consequences for it be?

I'm just saying that Branch, through his career, has looked like a highly competent and composed grappler and then he's just subbed out of the blue.

And it's one thing to get subbed by DJ, who hasn't been training the Gi so he doesn't have belt rank but is still an excellent grappler.

Don't want to flood this thread, but I guess it could be because he is on a slope/botched weight cut/personal issues or just didn't want to be there.

No worries at all, it's an open discussion leading up to the show. This is the place people can ask questions, discuss the poll and talk about what they want to hear on the broadcast. During the live show tonight, if you or anyone logs on to the youtube chat they can talk to the hosts directly.

Thats the only fight that makes sense tbh. UFC owes us that trilogy.

Conor bringing up Khabibs wife was too much, I don't have too much respect for a religion that encourages women to cover up from head to toe so you can't even recognize them but I respect their freedom of chocie to do so. Conor went too far bringing up Khabibs family into it, they have nothing to do with fighting, it is not fair game.

Involving family took it too far.

The political connections were fair game, but everything else too much.

This thread, like the show, is about to go live!

"Feeling splendifirous":D

Justin disdain the media? Huh. Never got that impression. Always seemed like an earnest guy.
