First off, pardon the video host, despite looking like a dorky, fat, typical moms basement dwelling nerd...you gotta learn to separate the optics from your bias if the info is on point.

Dana has many reasons to hate Ariel, but the one that stands out the most is that Ariel's hardball questions are a danger to the ufc's propaganda machine and harmful towards their (unethical and borderline corrupt) 'operation'. Ariel can singlehandedly bring light to the worst of the ufcs unethical business practices, and Dana knows that...that's the real reason he goes the extra mile to cancel him, get his creds taken away, get him fired, silenced, ridiculed and to lower his credibility.

Check it out, feel free to diss the video guy if you want, it ain't me lol

Ariel > Dana regarding the integrity of mma.

Dana only knows what is going on and all journalist are clueless dipshits who should only lick his balls while asking questions. Ariel stepped out of line so he is now the biggest scumbag asshole in the world and worthy of being vilified.

Be a good boy like Brett Okamoto.

Dana is all about free speech but only if u tow the line that he wants. He is the most unprofessional president of any sports organization.

He sees any criticism on the UFC slander.

Instead of saying, we are going to fix that and theres no room for that in the UFC, he says don’t leave it to the judges. Basically saying he doesn’t care if his athletes being robbed and mistreated, he just wants more finishes and that solves the problem (Which it doesn’t).

I wouldn't even call them hardball questions necessarily, just not sycophantic, company man type gimme questions. In Australia we call them a Dorothy Dixer.

Also Dana never forgave Ariel for 'spoiling' the fact that Brock Lesnar was coming back to fight at UFC 200 in 2016, before the UFC got to reveal the news.

Ariel isn’t a journalist, he’s a YouTube minor celebrity in mma. I never get over the fad of kids jumping on whatever bandwagon that’s trending. Last week they all loved paddy this week they’re cheering for a scheming crybaby weasle. Loads of fighters over the years have called out Ariel for his carry on and in a blink of an eye it’s all forgotten about.

It's all about UFC 199 where Ariel announced Brawk being scheduled for UFC 200. He was working for the UFC but was doing his journal job as well. I can see the valid arguments for both sides.
100%. Leaking that news was kind of a selfish move from a guy that should have known better and was understandably unforgiveable.

Free speech includes freedom say things you don't like.

Shy of that it is just lip service.

Free speech really doesn't exist anymore.

Like George Carlin once said "I love this country for the things it used to stand for and the rights we used to have."

(Paraphrased)

Wait, what does it matter what the host looks like?

Is he pretending to be a Sherdogger?

Massive trades/signings are revealed/leaked by journalist all the time in other sports before a team can make it official. No one goes ape shit on the journalist.

Dana could dislike Ariel all he wants but he goes beyond that.

This is the reason they hate each other.

The Goof used to be really close to Ariel, and kept him in the loop on everything. It got to to the point were they wanted him to be a UFC employee (and be like what Okamoto is for UFC now maybe even higher position cuz Ariel is better reporter)

Ariel refused and even when they kinda forced him with the UFC Fox show by writing his paychecks (as UFC employee). It eventually turned into this whole big thing when Ariel forced fox to write checks not UFC. Then Ariel being the petty person we all know him to be leaked some Brock news further driving a wedge in the relationship. It enraged the Goof and he had his muscle kick him out of an event. Since then Ariel has been uncomfortable to go to events and they both talk shit about each other.

IIRC Ariel had told Dana he was still doing his job as a journalist and Dana told him that was alright, but I think he did tell Ariel to wait until the 199 card was over. So yeah, now that I think about it, Ariel should've known better.

News people are usually attractive. So its a bit shocking when a person on tv isn’t good looking.
