My narrative is that a guy undefeated in the company doesn't suck. He's rising the ranks and is a talented fighter. But I read the most retarded fucking shit about him. You can watch a fighter against an outmatched opponent and still gage how good he is bozo. You don't have to be impressed by his resume to conclude what kind of fighter he is. Again, if you think he sucks at fighting, you are a fucking retard.

Paddy has noticeably improved and outperformed my expectations. I didn’t rate him very highly for a long time due to his tendency to leave his chin up in the air and get tagged against mediocre competition.

That said, he’s still got a lot left to prove and I don’t think he should be fighting for a belt yet nor should Justin. This fight would have been fine next, but making any interim title fight excluding Tsarukyan is dumb. I think Holloway is also ahead of both Justin and Paddy personally.

I don't know that he's a championship level fighter either. I lean toward probably not and never will be. But he's a top 5 or 6 fighter in a good division.

this is what happens when you don't follow rankings and a tried and true formula for making basic ass matchups.

they constantly do this shit because they can and they dont care what hardcores think, they never have.

if theyre not going to follow a ranking system, then they should just have an upcoming card, with all relevant LW fighters, make unique matchups we haven't seen before, and then they can cherry pick their title shots. we need all the pertinent fights, on one card, not spread out over months, just one night, decides the flow of the division.

I don't think it's the people think he sucks or is a bad fighter, that's not where the criticism comes from. Anyone can see that Paddy is very good and a top LW. I think the problem people have is the favoritism he gets along with favorable match making which was clearly to build him up. The last 3 guys he fought were all good names, one bigger after the other, but all were older and passed it and combined 0-13. It was clear the UFC was just building up Paddy with easier fights of former established fighters to make him look good.

Meanwhile, you got Arman who's fought many good fighters, rising prospects and top names and he didn't get that fight. People see it was one guys rise was fabricated and the others was legit.
