I dunno, things are good at the moment, but for some reason I feel like I'm just waiting for the other shoe to drop, so this shit's been on my mind lately.

1:
Nick Drake: Pink Moon

It's like if an incel decided not to project their inadequacies outward and did some serious introspection.

2:
Warning: Watching From a Distance

This is every guy's first serious breakup put to music.

3:
Tyler the Creator: Igor

I don't care if you're straight, gay, or anything in between, if you can listen to Igor without crying like a little bitch you don't have a fucking soul.

This Mortal Coil - It'll End in Tears

Purple Mountains - last album by David Berman who killed himself a couple of months after its release. Musically it may not be emotionally devastating, by lyrically, in hindsight, all the signs were there.

"Pink Moon" was the first album that came to my mind before I even opened the thread.

I didn't really care for the rest of the album, but one of the most emotionally devastating songs I've ever heard:

Another from my favorite band in my youth:

One I share a lot. From a tribute concert-- not the original version:

Finally, familiarity breeds contempt, but it shouldn't. There isn't a single person who didn't feel completely hollowed out the first time they heard this classic. And it does it with an upbeat tempo.

Joy Division - Closer

Oh shit, I can't believe I forgot that one. The back half of that album is just too much feels...

"Pink Moon" was the first album that came to my mind before I even opened the thread.

Then why didn't ye give me a like ye wee bastard!?

Real talk though, it's the weakest if the three I mentioned, and I'd probably swap it with Closer
