- drew for the vacant title at UFC 282 against Jan Blachowicz, then had a no contest against Johnny Walker at UFC 294

5. Alex Pereira
- defeated Jan Blachowicz at UFC 291, who had drawn with Magomed Ankalaev for the vacant title at UFC 282

Chael is the lineal LHW champ anyway. He fought Jones at 205. As we all know, Chael has never lost a fight, nor even a round, ergo Chael never lost the belt he won from Jones.

Cormier also has a claim on the belt, albeit a tenuous one. He was reinstated as champ after the loss to Jones that was later overturned to a no contest after Jones failed a USADA test.

He defended against Oezdemir before going up to heavyweight, then eventually gave up the title. He officially didn't lose it in the cage.
