There are 5 fighters with claims to the UFC light heavyweight title.

1. Jamahal Hill
- won vacant title against Glover Teixeira at UFC 283, later vacated the title

2. Jiri Prochazka
- won the title against Glover Teixeira at UFC 275, later vacated the title

3. Jon Jones
- defended the title for the 13th time at UFC 247, later vacated the title

4. Magomed Ankalaev
- drew for the vacant title at UFC 282 against Jan Blachowicz, then had a no contest against Johnny Walker at UFC 294

5. Alex Pereira
- defeated Jan Blachowicz at UFC 291, who had drawn with Magomed Ankalaev for the vacant title at UFC 282

chael can come back at anytime, and he is the real undisputed undefeated

Though technically the lineal champ. Jones accepted the challenge from Jan in February. Then waited until August to vacate the title. That’s a clear duck, imo.

Jiří Procházka is the rightful Champion, imo.

If he wins, this will ostensibly be his "first" defense.

If he loses, Alex Pereira is the rightful LHW Champion going forward.
What if it ends in a draw or no contest?

Love how Glover gets his revenge after losses. First they get injured, then his pupil will brutally KO them (maybe)

Cormier also has a claim on the belt, albeit a tenuous one. He was reinstated as champ after the loss to Jones that was later overturned to a no contest after Jones failed a USADA test.

He defended against Oezdemir before going up to heavyweight, then eventually gave up the title. He officially didn't lose it in the cage.

Any division that has Anthony Smith even in talks of being top 10 is in trouble.
