I'll definitely watch it even if it looks like Season 4 cut up just to make a movie.

OMFG that title. :-0

As someone who's been in a lot of creative planning meetings in the entertainment industry this does not bode well.

I can just see it: "hey were making a moving about the Mandalorian and Grogu, what should we call it?? 27 meetings and 100s' of hours later of brainstorming with no creative leadership to provide focus: "The Mandalorian and Grogu."

They did much better CGI AT AT Walkers in Rogue One, 9 years ago.

In fact, other than the weird looking Grand Moff Tarkin and Princess Leia, the CGI in Rogue One was far better than anything Disney SW has done since then in 2016. Or anything Disney has done period, including Marvel.

It looks like it will be fun and doesn’t take itself too seriously…a bit of an Indiana Jones feel…plus the retro poster is awesome…the c.g.i. with the AT-AT is not great…but I am totally in for this…

You can't convince me that Disney isn't just using AI for VFX at this point.

Watched the trailer twice, and still no clue what the fuck it is about.

Is there a s4 of the show? Feels like the last season ended 8 years ago.

Meh. Didn't really feel anything. It looks okay I guess. Looks like a new season, it doesn't have the gravitas of a movie

At least a couple of Book of Boba Fett episodes are kinda Mandalorian episodes.

The thing about this that rustles my jimmies is how they're putting it "in theaters".

When was the last time you put out new content on Disney+, Disney? I feel like on the rare occasion I've opened that app I've been staring at the exact same wall of shit for the last year, but you added commercials, anyway, then you jacked prices.

125m+ subscribers paying at least $11/mo, and those just to get spammed with commercials unless it's $20+, are still expected to pay the cost of a theater ticket to see some original content?

Exactly. Why would I go to see this Star Wars movie? It doesn't even have Darth Bane in it.

Looks like puppets in space, kinda lame. The sewer scene just looked silly and VERY DISNEY. Im pretty sure most people are burned out on these characters. Hopefully it ends up being somewhat decent like Solo minus the annoying robot.
