Media The Last Crescendo does 45k PPV buys in the US

Is anyone surprised? The event was held on Saturday morning, had virtually no stateside promotion and featured two Russians in the main event.

Contrary to popular opinion, the US is no longer the center of the world.

Im not surprised, the fact that viewers have to subscribe to DAZN just to order the PPV is a massive barrier to entry. They should’ve hosted it on ESPN.

Boxing is just a very niche sport in the U.S. now, even if the headliner was Tank vs Shakur I doubt it breaks 100K buys.

As someone mentioned, the PPV was on at an odd time and PPV is just too expensive in general.

I think its just boxing is insisting on PPV with guys who haven't earned the demand. Beterbiev and Bivol may be elite guys but who are they to American consumers?
