the "J a p Whizzer", video included..

Just an arm throw- it's pretty much straight no-gi judo, but in wrestling it's always called the a 'j a p whizzer'. The one in the video is not very clean. Just start with a regular collar tie (left arm outside control), start turning your hips sideways as though you were going to hit a high crotch, only thrust your right arm up into an underhook (on the side with your inside control- get it in like a reverse whizzer), then lower your level and crank your hips by back stepping with your left leg (throw it between your opponents legs if you want), and use your momentum to pull your opponent over. It's a pretty simple and effective throw in the right situation.

That is a throw in judo, but not the seoinage shoulder throw. Seoi comes up under and over rather than around.

Not sure what it is. Some weird name. Yoko sompin or sompin?

Thought it was a typical armdrag in wrestling although there were variations where that went.

An arm drag is not a throw. I think your thinking of an armspin, which is a throw.

Good stuff! Thanks!!!

is it any different from an armspin ? it looks just like it, but without the "spin" (in the pauslon vid).

In BJJ it looks like you would be exposed to chokes if you're not fast enough.

yeah it's an armspin from a collar tie i think... been only like 5 yrs since i wrestled, but i forgot what everything was called.

That's the only throw I can hit at Judo!

I don't like the way its done in the video. Too much back exposer, and a good wrestler will catch you. I used to do it that I'd turn completely around and drop down, using not only momentom but throwing them over my back.
