Evil Dead and it's not even close. The first installment was supposed to be a horror, but it came off more as a an unintentional horror-comedy. Seeing that people enjoyed that, Raimi just dialed it up in the sequel. Army of Darkness is one of my guilty pleasures, and frankly, it's just a fun watch. Ash vs. Evil Dead had it's moments, but largely was more meh than fun. Bruce Campbell nailed it as Ash though, but I could see Ty Burrell pulling off that role as well.
I watched all of the SM offerings with Maguire and Garfield. To this day I still think neither were suited for the role, and the characters just seemed wimpy and cuntstruck. Alfred Molina and JK Simmons were the real stars, but for whatever reason, I've always been warm to Thomas Hayden Church since Wings. He was hilarious as Lowell, and he was very good in Sideways, so I liked seeing him as Flint Marko.
Marvel finally nailed the Spiderman chararcter perfectly, at least in my opinion, and neither Tobey or Andrew could carry Tom's jockstrap. But I definitely think Sony's reasons for wanting to take the rights back from Marvel were valid.
