i came across this yesterday on reddit it's about an amateur cave diver that went into florida's vortex spring to explore it and was never seen again

a lot of professional divers including the world's best female diver and florida's top body searcher diver went in looking for his body but most of them are convinced his body isn't in the vortex, what the fuck?

Have you seen As Above, So Below? I think some caves have a portal to hell, so maybe thats what happened

the deepest part of the cave is so narrow you'd have to take off your oxygen tanks just to fit in, the dude must have run out of oxygen panicked and ended up dead stuck in a small crevice

They brought in cadaver dogs and even tested the water for traces of decomposition and found nothing iirc.

the shit i saw yesterday says the test they did for decomposition was inconclusive and the cadaver dogs got a scent on the surface of the water

You may be right, I haven't read about the case in a couple years.

Iirc he was in some serious debt and some other drama was going down in his life. I believe he staged it since there is virtually zeto evidence he was ever in there at all.

he was seen by 2 different divers(one who works there) going into the deepest part
thru a gate

that gate is only supposed to be used by certified divers you got a sign some shit and then you get a key but this dude was an amateur and kept breaking in, that day the worker opened the gate and let him inside.

I remember that part. There's was even a show on ID Discovery about this case.

I really encourage you to check out Paulides. Some of those disappearances are mind boggling. I've read the first 4 books, I haven't had a chance to check out the 2 most recent ones.

Yeah, fuck all of that. That gets a big "Nope," from me.

I guess no trace of his tank or scuby suit? Suspect!
