It's like an arm triangle choke from the bottom but you're squeezing with an arm and a leg, discovered it like a week ago.

I think his arm position caused it to fail. He had it locked in, but dude had enough room to just wait out the round.

I don’t think he was trying to fight out of it, Saldana was gassed after the first. Like you said, he just kind of rhode out the round.

Lucky did not catch a sharp elbow in his face in that position. But if it is tight opponent will be trying to create space not throw and elbow allowing tighter squeeze.
