I agree with the author here. Lesnar shouldn’t have had a chance at the belt, delaying other contenders from their chance. Plus, the whole Lesnar/Cormier thing was a product of Jones being suspended at the time.

Everyone knows Brock originally wanted to fight the bigger draw and tougher challenge in Jon Jones anyways. It’s better to have a non-title superfight between Jones and Lesnar anyway. After he beats Santos there’s no clear cut contender. I’m sure we’ll see the true superfight this year. Jones vs Lesnar.

This is true. It was so corny watching DC trying to sell this fight. He really failed Brock.

Jones did it a lot more naturally. It is not surprising that he is a draw and DC is not.
Fact is, in MMA, Jon Jones does everything better than DC and that's okay.

DC beats up Stipe again and announces his retirement with the belt going up for grabs with DCs’ gloves left in the middle f the octagon. In the meantime, Brock gets clean and Bones puts on an extra 20 lbs. of solid muscle.

Brock vs Johnny Bones for the heavyweight super fight title and Daniel gets shat on once again.
