Loopy did finally win a step up fight her last time out against Andrade, so maybe that was a turning point for her. Highly doubt it though.

I'll be rooting for her too, but give her no chance to stop Suarez's wrestling for 2.5 rounds. Suarez will be tired by that point, but so will Loopy.

Eh, that could be that the hype was false, or it was true but gone after all the time out and medical issues. But either way, you're right, she's not where people thought she'd be. I think we can end up seeing her lose more in her next few fights.

Interestingly enough, this seems to foreshadow that Zhang is coming back down, right? Most people were assuming Dern-Suarez was next, but it Tats is getting booked, it's either cuz of Zhang, or Dern is out for a while

Suarez gas has been suspect since coming back, if loopy does her whole camp in mexico city she could take over r2 in the wrestling.

Very interesting matchup war loopy. This was the right fight to make anyways good #1 contender fight.

Loopy isn't going to do her camp somewhere else. She'll be at her normal place which is 1.5k above sea level. It's going to be the same Loopy that was in her last fight.

Suarez did struggle in her last fight against Lemos, for sure. I think she'll be put into the same situation again if she doesn't finish Loopy within 1.5 rounds. The problem is, Loopy's is bad after 1.5 herself. She got handled late by Hill and lost, and she was getting hunted down by Andrade and just managed to hold on. She's likely going to be even more tired than usual as Tatiana is likely going to be handling her for the first 2 rounds and making her use way more energy.

I agree though: war Loopy. I hope she finds a way.

Guessing Zhang is moving back down to face Dern for the belt then, makes sense as she was clearly undersized against Val and would be against most of the Flyweight top 15.

I'm going with Loopy for the upset. Her wrestling is good enough to keep it from being a typical Suarez wrestlefuct, and her striking is much better. Both are very handsome, though,.
