Sparring Taekwondo black belt grading sparring, thoughts?

This is the older style with American kickboxing rules and equipment.

I think this was fairly respectable. Curious though if you guys think the superior black belt went too hard.

Please watch the entirety. They do round 2 after running up to the table. And that's were he cranks it up. Maybe they were told to go harder.

I could break as many boards as they wanted to but was slagging off on the stretching.

Didn't have good form. High marks on power.

So when I sparred an assistant instructor in a grading I felt i needed to prove mysef. kicked him full blast to his arm. Which he felt....

He responded by spin kicking me in the stomach knocking the air out of me. I was Still standing but couldnt breath.

"Hey this stuff is for real!".

? I don't know about that. But ITF and WT fight differently... because of their rules
