I really like this stuff for lifting, but not sure if its any good for mma...The extra energy is nice, but since it gets your muscles pumped easier and faster is seems shitty for grappling...A couple good rounds rolling with someone of similar strength and my forearms and bicepts feel like they are about to explode...anyone else using this stuff...? Anyone care to comment???

BTW, I just switched from the (muscletech luekic pump) to the (superpump250) and the pump is a bit less, but the energy a bit more... so I think the superpump is slightly better for me at this point...

Well, you kinda answered your own question. People respond differently to different things, trial and error.

Around here....you might just get flamed for all this talk about 'pumps' and MuscleTech stuff. I, in fact, was going to flame you, but I'm feeling weird today.

A few years ago when I tried to get in to shape I went all out and got a pre workout and post workout and protein bladiblahblah. I went to the gym and worked out with a personal trainer and told him that I was on supplements etc. He was like, I told you not to get any of that crap and I was all well whatever I got it anyway. By the time he was done with me my arms were so swollen that I couldn't even lift my cell phone all the way to my ear. I had to use 2 hands 1 to hold the cell phone, the other to push my elbow from behind to get it to my mouth area.

So yes, NO products + hard workouts = swollen muscles

thanks for the responses so far...forgot to mention I don't take it if I know I'm just gonna grapple or box that day, but on days where I lift and grapple it affects me big time...

I guess what I'm getting at is if you guys think it still affects you on days you aren't taking it...like if it stays in ur system and pumps you more even on a day you don't take it...ur right about trial and error, I'll probably have to try not using it for a while to really find out how my body reacts, but I was just trying to find out if any of you guys use and like it...

thanks for responding...yeah thats kinda how i feel everytime I workout :icon_chee But I think theres some benefits...the whole idea of getting really pumped up and tearing ur muscles is that you'll get bigger and stronger faster...I'm not great by any means, only been grappling ~6 months... but my physical strength alone has kept me in there with some guys that were technically much better than myself and often outweigh me...

SP250 is really the only pre-workout formula that I've tried and liked. However, I only use it prior to strength sessions, and I only need 1 to 1.5 scoops to get the effect I want. I never use it prior to mma or cardio.

HAve you tried NO Xplode? How did it compare?

I've gone through a couple of jugs of NO-Xplode about a year apart from each other and just didn't like it all that much. It gave me headaches, raised my heart rate too much, and left me feeling unfocused.

SP250 gives me a fair amount of energy, but doesn't give me the side effects of NO-Xplode. It does a very good job of improving focus, which is what I really like about it, and it gives greater pumps. I also think it tastes better.

I've also used, Met-RX Amped, VyoTech Nitrobolic, NanoVapor, Horsepower, N30, Fast Twitch and I'm sure there are more. SuperPump is the only one I like. I did get a sample of Axis Smash and like that a lot. Very similar to SP250.

In your case, SP might not work for you. If NO-Xplode leaves you unable to leave the shitter, SP will probably be like the apocalypse for you. It hasn't earned the nickname SuperDump 250 without a reason. In my case, I take it, shit my brains out 10 min later and than I'm good. I've heard of some people unable to complete workouts because of that, but that seems to be at 3 scoops or more. I know one guy that took 4 scoops and spent 3 days pissing out his ass.

LOL! Is that what the directions say on the bottle?

Mix 2-3 scoops with water and drink. Proceed to shit brains out 10 minutes later. Repeat as necessary.

Actually, I found NO products good before cardio the vaso-dialation will enhance endurance due to the increase in oxygen uptake and better VO2max. I personally like NO-Xplode better than Superdump, sorry pump

It's all about finding what works for you. Like I said, I've tried most of what's out there and SuperPump is my favorite.
As far as NO products before conditioning or mma, it usually results in either calf or forearm pumps that get in the way of training, and the stimulants get my heart rate high enough to actually force me to cut back on my workout. Keep in mind that my stim tolerance is relatively low, especially for my bodyweight. The only time that I get caffeine or other stims is pre-strength training, and maybe a couple of times a month when I didn't get enough sleep and need a bit of a boost.
