Scooper MyTimeToShine reports that all the Justice League actors won't be back in Gunn's DCU as well as Zachary Levi and Dwayne Johnson. The only actors coming back are Gunn's wife, Viola Davis and some of the Suicide Squad cast.

Henry Cavill Reportedly Fired His Manager Months Before He Filmed the Black Adam Cameo

According to the most recent newsletter from Puck News' Matt Belloni, former Superman star Henry Cavill fired his manager long before leaving his DC role.

Cavill had the same manager and agency (Dany Garcia, William Morris Entertainment [WME]) as Black Adam star Dwayne Johnson. Garcia is also Johnson’s ex-wife, and they’ve been producing partners for several years.

Johnson was reportedly so adamant about putting Cavill’s Superman in Black Adam that he went around former President of DC Films Walter Hamada’s back to make it happen. The Rock went to new heads Mike De Luca and Pam Abdy to make sure he and his fellow WME client were in Black Adam’s mid-credits scene together after Hamada said no.

But the problem was that Cavill had actually fired Garcia as his manager "a few months" before the DC drama went down, with Garcia advocating for the last-minute cameo (filmed less than two months before the film premiered) so that the movie had the necessary splash to be successful. In the end, that effort was all for naught, as reports noted that Black Adam could suffer losses as high as $100 million from its box office totals.

Combine that with news that Johnson reportedly leaked false numbers to boost the movie's public image, and it continues to paint a worrisome picture of an already troublesome situation.

was wondering why a hack like the rock got prime roles.
cavill was getting the scraps.

DC universe is becoming a trainwreck at WB. Flash bombing because of the actor's antics will further seal the deal

Didn't Gunn already work on a young Superman movie when he produced Brightburn?
Yes, but Brightburn is not officially a DC or Superman movie. I had an idea to partially reboot the DCEU and it would involve the movie.

- First, DC would have to acquire the rights to Brightburn.
- Make a sequel set several years later. The Brightburn kid, Brandon, is grown up and teams up with the other super powered people mentioned at the end of the movie. They take over the world and form an evil Justice League. A smart guy, who is against the evil Justice League, discovers the League is performing an energy extraction process that is damaging the Earth's core and threatening the planet. He, along with a few others, try to stop the process but most are slaughtered by the League. At the movie's climax, smart guy is about to succeed but Brandon stops him. Several months later a major city is destroyed by an explosion. Evil Batman tells Brandon this was a natural disaster and the smart guy's predictions were correct. The Earth has months or weeks before it is destroyed. Movie ends with a close-up of Brandon's face, seething with anger. Roll credits.
- Post-credits scene. Most of the evil Justice League are in a room analyzing the latest disaster reports. Evil Batman summons Brandon to his lab. Evil Batman says the Earth is still doomed, but he has a way to save themselves -- interdimensional travel. He says he has been studying other dimensions and he thinks he's found one suitable for them and he can show him. They both look on a screen and we see Superman (Cavill), Wonder Woman (Gadot), and the rest of the good Justice League in their battle with Steppenwolf. Movie ends with a close-up of Brandon's face, this time with an evil smile.
- First crossover movie the evil Justice League invades and defeats the good guys. Second movie new heroes rise up or different versions of the defeated good guys beat the evil Justice League. Reboot complete.

Pretty much a copy of the Justice League cartoon and the Justice Lords episodes. Also, the smart guy is that dimension's Lex Luthor.

Gunn denies report about recasting everyone except Suicide Squad.

“Dwayne, I know there’s a lot of rumors out there and Black Adam underperforming but I just wanna know how you feel about staying on board with us?”
“Well, James-“
“IT DOESN’T MATTER HOW YOU FEEL!”
The Rock then proceeds to beat up Gunn to a bloody pulp.

Gunn is married to Jennifer Holland who portrayed Emilia Harcourt (The Suicide Squad, Peacemaker, Black Adam).

Wow. Fisher needed just a thin sliver of a thread to tie it all back to himself and create a new drama.

Also, Gunn mentioned in the past that his older tweets automatically delete itself.

Edit: Gunn's response to diva Ray Fisher.

DC just needs to stop. DCEU is just a wet dream that’s gonna flop
