What do y'all think of that match up? And how it will play out.
About time hunt gets back in the octagon but I think Struve pulls off a submission from his back IMO!
Thoughts?

i see a sub in the first round to SS, really have liked Hunts little run in the ufc and hope it continues tho. SS has been KO'ed before with Hunts power he is more than capable, hoping this happens before it gets to the ground

That depends if Struve wants to fight smart or not. If he takes it to the ground (TD or pull guard), he wins.
If he decides to strike with hunt, he will go to sleep. Not because he`s not good, but because at some point he will try that awful flying knee of his and Hunt will be waiting to land a bomb.

I just Hunt doesn't snap him in half and Struve doesn't become paralyzed.

Personally I think this is a stupid match up, they are both only a few wins away from title contention and they would be new contenders, add to that this fight is not very likely to go past the first round if either guys win, someone is going to the back of the line and the winner won't be much closer to a title shot, this looks like a lose lose scenario for the UFC to me.

Struve is gonna submit him. Which is too bad because I wanna see Mark Hunt get the knockout.

Dear lord, please give the fan what they want with a Mark Hunt KO victory.

Its a step back for Struve. He should be facing a top 10

Right. Struve just beat a rising prospect, he should be fighting above Hunt, and a win here wouldn't bring him any closer to the title. Hunt is well-known and popular, but I seriously doubt that very many people seriously think he'll be a contender. A win for Hunt would do more for his career than a win for Struve would.

It will be an interesting fight, though. Everyone likes to forget that Struve has shown he can take punches, but Hunt hits hard even for a heavyweight. That said, Hunt has next to no ground game. Struve should just pull guard and tap him from his back like he did to Lavar Johnson. If Sean McDorkle could do it, Struve can do it easily.

Be like the Nelson/Struve fight.

Watch Head Hunter find Struve's chin and collapse that tower, brutally.

Struve will fall awkwardly and people will think he is dead.

Threads will be made calling for his retirement because he has been KO'd so often.

This...pretty much exactly this actually

I think Struve will eat a good punch from Mark then attempt to pull guard and Mark will have none of it, then a flurry from Struve will appear to have no effect and Hunto will produce one of the most brutal head kick KO's seen yet.

Struve has a pretty weak chin and doesn't use his range effectively. This is Hunt's fight to lose IMO. I look forward to seeing Hunt crumble the Skyscraper personally, I like Hunt a lot more.

Never liked Struve after the Morecraft cheapshot. But he has shown nothing similar since so if he continues to fight clean I will once again become a fan.

Hunt wouldn't have to fight much on the ground with Struve. Struve has no conventional takedowns. He'd have to try to pull guard against Hunt, and then Hunt would probably be able to stand back up and continue beating him standing with better chin, power, quickness and overall standup technique. Most of the guys Hunt beat in K-1 are better standup fighters than Struve, some are light years better.
