Contrary to reports, Stipe Miocic did not suffer any serious injuries in his TKO loss to Jon Jones at UFC 309.

I can tell you've never been in a fight. The wind getting knocked out of you is damaging enough. Couple that with the follow up punches and boom. Fight over.

Just shows teh power of building upon those body shots.
At first glance those body shots seem to the casual as next to nothing, but no matter how much muscle development you have, they do ad oop. It wasn't that kick alone that took Stipe down... you could see him react to several of the earlier onez as well.

He's never broken a bone in the cage. IIRC he's only broken one bone in his life and didn't even know it until the doctor told him. Meanwhile several people have broken their hands on his skull, most notably Gabriel Gonzaga and DC.
