No problem. Don't go heavy unless you have buddies to spot you. Asking a stranger to spot you in the pictures I posted is weird, even for sherdog standards.

But have you spotted a stranger directly behind them like in the pictures I posted?

I've never seen a woman ask a stranger to spot her like this.

I’m generally an unsociable uncaring prick of a person, but even I couldn’t bear the sight of a heavy bench gone wrong. I wouldn’t be able to eat afterwards after they scraped that stiff off the bench. Might get a strange boner though..

That's the proper way to spot a squat if there is only one spotter. If you can get to people on either side of the bar, that works too.

That's how you are supposed to spot a squat. Would you rather risk getting crushed by the weight in the case you fail the lift just because that kind of spot feels weird to you?
