The thing was that I didn't rough him up or anything. The cops showed up and took statements. I was an idiot and talked because I thought I was going home afterwards since I was merely defending myself. Never again. Even if I am a bystander and a cop asks me a question I will never speak a word to a cop ever again.
The cops did rough me up after they handcuffed me. I was compliant too. What a bunch of assholes. Four cops showed up. It was an overreaction imo.
