That's me, unedited working the heavybag. That was after regular class so I was dead tired from an hour of training in the tropical heat. But anyway, feel free to call me on my bullshit.

I'll have a longer round if it draws any interest or feedback.

.Good hip engagement. How long have you been training?

Good work there. I like the little step in rotation leading to the left hook. I'm doing this shit for quite some time as a hobbyist and still struggle to formulate really hurting knees in my drills and combinations.

Thanks and keep up the grind. The responses of the bag and good sparring partners are always right. ⚡

Thanks mate. Grinding is all I do in that gym, will keep it up as long as my body allows.

Nice work. I like your stance. Chin is down all the time. Good balance.

Nice kicks as well
Thanks man this means a lot coming from you.

If you want to get to the next level you need to experiment around timing of the pivot, the nature of the strike (work on both snapping and thrusting types of kicks).. your bodies positioning.

I would suggest trying to come in at more of an angle, you kick a bit upright. I can't see the timing of your pivot from that video but this is easy to experiment around, just kick at a sooner or later stage of the hip twist.

Finally conditioning, making yourself stronger will make your techniques stronger.

To me it looks like your forcing trying to look technical all the time instead of wild and practical at times. Like you´re calculating in your head what angle exactly your knees and elbow to hip ratio has to be while you´re executing the mid kick. Hence 80% of what you did in the clip was repeating of the same exact moves. And it really caught my eye how your toes are pointed very upwards after every kick, that and probably long feet.

Those were my thoughts.

I could also wrote "cool, good job, keep it up" but that´s too standard. I just told you what I really thought..

HF keep training

(HF means have fun)

Thanks mate. I checked a few and I believe most of those kicks landed right but I do something wrong on the way out where my foot points totally upwards, probably makes it easier to catch the kick as well.
I know thai coaches emphasize that the kick only "ends" when you get back to your stance but my coaches never said anything about this.

I'm talking about to increase power

Thanks mate. I was trying to look technical indeed because I believe it was the first time I ever recorded a long round on the bag. wanted to look right!
The thing about the toes pointed upwards is ugly af, don't know what to do about that.

Thanks mate.

Welcome

I was trying to look technical indeed
Reminds me of Reddit. Which is basically a lot of overtly theory

because I believe it was the first time I ever recorded a long round on the bag

That's normal
wanted to look right!

It looked good. But it didn't look like you always look when you practice on it. Like you normaly look of camera. I could tell you focused on optimising techniqual details, reddit style. I'd like if you just hit it, work, and manifest so to say. Fighting is also dinamic and welp not just fancy mathematical form. Get a bit beasty and throw and variate movements.

I mea there is 1000 ways to do a bag workout. Just focusing on throwin slow correct kicks to optimise your form is legit too.

I don't think it matters. I just noticed it. Maybe someone would end up kicking your toes in a way if you block like that.

What is your goal

What would be a all time great on reddit ? It's a hive there, cesspool

My goal with training Muay Thai is just to train and enjoy it and have fun. I was interested in competing for a minute like ten years ago but amateur martial arts is a clusterfuck and I don't even consider it at all anymore.

And I meant reddit Muay Thai is awful and my little bagwork would stand out as high level compared to most of the the stuff in there.

It's the best. I love it.

You're a bit up in age now.

Yeah possibly they would give a good review. Lots of teenagers, they could also just start picking you apart especially if they don't like your attitude they will all start talking trash. Half the commentors there never had gloves on their hand. Too many kids.
