in the hospital she would have blood labs drawn that show red, white blood cell counts, electrolyte levels and other stuff like kidney and liver function panels. She would likely also be tested for MRSA among other things.

Not to mention she'd connected to a telemetry monitor to keep an eye on heart function if any electrolyte levels were out of whack.

This sounds like she chickened out
