Ankalaev is 5-0 and 1Draw against the current top 10. If he doesn't rematch Periera he's very few wins away from clearing the division. That being said Jiri is tall task.

Buckling Anks leg 2 or 3 times across 5 rounds where he spent the rest of the fight being outstruck and outgrappled by a 1 legged man isnt enough to warrant a win. I thought Ank beat Jan 2 years ago and still think so now.

My biggest complaint is those who say Jan vs Ank was boring I thought it was a very solid scrap with sudden momentum shifts and went everywhere. Not a Justin Gaethje fight but cmon, boring?
