And he didn't fell for it. Then they did the same with Usman for the Masvidal fight. Then they used poor Edwards to lower the demands of Nate and Masvidal to fight eachother.

Whatever fighter of these 5 you like/dislike it just shows how much power the UFC has and that ducking isn't really ducking. Good for Colby that he stood his ground and didn't take the Usman fight for less money than he deserves.
 
These damn misers are lowballing literally everyone. Aside from couple of fighters (like Reem) almost everyone is underpaid. Dana wants to spend money on new PI's and promotion instead of giving fighters the money they deserve but how long can it last? And the reebok sponsorship.... <36>
 
remember them lowballing eddie saying he will have to fight khabib and take that ppv revenue instead of conor.

what weird is the fact conor and the ufc talk about other fighters contracts as conor said to eddie in the build up "This guy took the fight on his last contract" and started laughing. implying even guys like mendes and nate were smart enough to get better contracts

conor also said "when they told me diaz was having contract problems, i said just pay the man". before their 1st fight. he could just be blowing hot air. but seems fishy

Deserve what? He is not a draw and doesn't have any leverage, he is not particulary an exciting fighter or interesanting individual.

He should be glad he is still considered for a title fight despite all the BS he have pulled in the past.

Wouldn't surprise me. 45/45 is pathetic for a main event fight against a legend. I bet they wanted to pay him less than what he got for the RDA fight.

Eddie fought conor on a contract that never imagined he’d sell over a million ppv’s. He didn’t have to renegotiate because he made bank.

Colby doesn't even deserve a 6 figure paycheck

He is responsible for some of the worst ratings in UFC history
 
Not the exact same situation, but it sounds like how ufc used Khabib so they didn't have to pay Eddie to much to fight Conor.
 
Colby should have got a 100k 100k offer ....... it's the main for MSG .

They are paying Kabib millions an other than the connie fight he has not drawn water
