Hes got the most points all time, puts up monster stat lines, longevity, a big trophy case. Only MJ is better than LeBron all time.

I cant see who can you put ahead of lebron.

The most dominate player i ever saw was Wilt Chamberlain, he was something else.

Would ya believe Bill Russell was a world ranked high jumper? Wilt also high jumped just not on a world class level.

Hes the best and greatest player ever

MJ doesnt surpass LeBron at anything
Except never losing a Finals in 6 tries. Hell none of them even went to a game 7.

If LeBron went against teams that scored 53 points in a close out game he'd be undefeated too

Unfortunately for LeBron he had to play in a league that had talent.

Fortunately for lebron he plays in an era where defense is pourous.

Its actually harder to play defense in todays league. Guys can dribble with both hands and shoot the basketball. It isn't singular crossover and drive beating guys who couldn't defend a middle schooler. Jordan's era is closer to the WNBA than it is to todays NBA

Did you even watch Jordan play back in the 90s? Maybe I'm assuming you are from Chicago because you're a bears fan but I'm not sure how people assume that the talent pool was lessor back then. If anything it was much more balanced in the 90s. For the past 15 years you have two leagues... Half of it is trash bottom feeders and then you have stacked teams. Sure there were a couple shit teams like the Magic and Clippers in the 90s

Lmao. This can got shut down by a manlet and blamed losing on his teammates banging his mom.

Shit's so bad that he plays in an era where no one actually plays defense and still manages to be a negative player on his team.

The icing on the cake is being arguably the least clutch player in NBA history.

Yes, I watched Jordan, I also watched Jordan get so bad nobody wanted him int he all star game and they had to ask Vince Carter to give up his spot lmao

The talent pool was objectively lesser, it was an expansion league, wasn't an international game. It was not balanced in the 90s at all. Even the players said it was a weak league at the time. The 90s had the Bulls and Magic with Shaq, then nobody else. The West had more "good teams" just like they do today but it was even more top heavy. Nowadays the bottom feeders of the league have optimized tanking. Back in the day they were just shit teams.

Brandon Ingram is the GOAT if he played in the 90s. He's just a star player today. DeMar DeRozan is just a Michael Jordan who never abused steroids and went bald.

Jordan would average about 37 ppg in today's game

He wouldn't, not only can guys defend, but the bigger wings would slow his ass down. To get separation on shots takes a shitload more energy in todays league and he would get absolutely besmirched on the defensive end. Plus, he was never a high volume 3 point shooter. Playing defense against Jordan would have been incredibly easy with his inefficient usage.

So you don't think players could adapt? Kobe sure seemed to have coming out of the 90s. You think Kobe was more talented than Jordan?

LeBron is only surpassed by Michael Jordan - Kenny Florian

I dont pretend players will do something they never did, no.

I don't know about more talented, their eras overlap. He ultimately was more skilled than Jordan.

Guys who would theoretically transfer to the modern game would be bigs with athleticism, because the skillset might be worse, the athleticism would carry. Like Hakeem, Malone, and Shaq (pre-fat). The only real reason for that too is the mid 2010s was bereft of talented bigs. Thats why Lamarcus Aldridge and Kevin Love were two of the best and Draymond got All Pro votes.

Well current and former players disagree with your assertion. Some of them think he could average 40 today. And since I was never a pro, let alone a beer league player, I think their opinion holds a pretty high regard.

I feel like too many people are forgetting Wilt and Kareem these days. That being said, general consensus seems to favor a 3 way tie between Jordan, Bryant, and James.

Thats great, the NBA is full of old shitters who are bitter role players make more money than they did. They think they could, we know they couldnt. How do we know? Because the best scorers with more skill in a more talented league don't do that. Its fun to play make believe and folk lore, but the reality is the league isnt even recognizable its so different in terms of skill.
