I've heard Paulie saying that rabbit punching is illegal... but I'm not so sure that's true. As long as its not at the back of the head I think its fine?
 
Rabbit punches are to the back of the head by definition. The same punch that doesn't land to the back of the head isn't a rabbit punch. At least that's my understanding. It's one of those terms that seems to have a somewhat loose definition though.

You're not allowed to hold your opponents head and hit either
