For me it's typing.

My high school offered a typing class and I took it just because I thought it would be easy. But I'm so glad I did. The ability to type 60 wpm without looking at the keyboard has made me so much faster at getting work done.

My Dad had a pretty cool "small" skill too. He worked with tools a lot and he could look at a bolt and instantly know what size it was. I always have to try 3 different wrenches before I find the right one which is why jobs take me way longer.

What little underrated skills do you possess that have saved you a ton of time/effort?

Another one for me is that I forced myself to learn how to use my computer mouse with my left hand.

Being a fairly active person I periodically get hand injuries and it's never an issue. I can just switch hands and keep working just as fast.

I had a co worker that was getting carpal tunnel in her right hand and I told her to switch, but she gave up after only a few minutes because it felt awkward.

People are so damn impatient. Sure, things were awkward for me that first day, but after that I could do it just as good with my left as I did with my right.

One thing that comes to mind is tying shoelace fast without looking. It's much faster than the bunny through the loop method.

Sure, it's for "hand injuries"...

Parking. I mean, it's not very fucking hard, people. You stay. Between. The lines. Same concept as kindergarten coloring pages. Honestly, I feel people just don't give a shit, but it really irks me how easy it is and how many people fuck it up hardcore.

LOL I've never understood that meme about clicking with your left hand while you masturbate. What is there to click? Are you scrolling through your ex's Facebook photos?

Call me old fashioned but I just put on a video and fap. I don't need to click the mouse in the middle of the process.

Multitasking and being quick and efficient with any physical task

Being a good listener

Good communication/ likeable communication. Meaning people will have a favorable opinion of you fairly quickly and at a minimum not many will hate you

And most importantly of all....work ethic. Lazy people suck at everything. Or even if they are good at something you could only imagine how great they could be if they did it like it mattered.

navigate your computer without a mouse. My computer mouse was broken at one point and I had to use the keyboard instead, it's a good learning experience.

Being able to instantly perceive evil in people. I can practically smell it.
You're like the guy from unbreakable but without the unbreakable part.

Edit: I think the original toxic avenger could also do this

it's a huge piece of pavement. I put my truck on it. wherever I want. I don't care about the lines. get over it.

At some point without planning to I became good at using mouse with either hand probably because I often had to use pen and mouse at same time.
