I noticed in some of Anderson Silva's fights (particularly the early ones) he is listed as 5'11...

Then in other fights Silva is listed as 6'2. Why exactly is that? I know a grown man didn't just grow 3 inches so I'm a bit confused.

You suppose to measure height up to the shoulder. Silva is bald and Weidman has full hairline that adds at least 2 inches from his forehead to the top of his hair. If you look at the shoulders both are perfectly lined up, so they both are the exact same height
