Should the UFC give the barncat another shot?

I dunno what the fuck this guy has been doing for the last 5 years, but clearly it's been working. What a clean combo he dropped Ward with! That's with 5 years ring rust too. I'd like to see how he fits in with today's UFC MW division. What do you think? He looked like a man possessed in there. Come on Uncle Dana!

I wasn't even really particularly sold on him back in his UFC stint, but obviously he's been working his ass off and improving. Do you think he needs another fight in Bellator before we talk UFC return?

never heard of him

But why not? Give him another chance

Tamdan McCrory. He left the UFC 5 years ago (and MMA completely) after going 3-3 in the org, but he always did show some real potential. He just wasn't consistent. He never looked as sharp as when he just took out Brennan Ward though. He's looks like he's getting much better and taking his career seriously.

those hooks! that fight was over quick, hard to tell. Him vs shogun.

Hard to believe he's only 27, even though he originally made his UFC debut before he was old enough to drink, legally.

I always thought it was harsh when they cut him after alternating win/loss in 6 fights. They'd never do that to a guy in today's UFC. But I'm pretty sure it also had to do with him not wanting to compete either, so maybe it was more of a release than a cut.

Either way, what an emphatic return for The Barn Cat. Glad to see him back and he definitely should get an invite back to the UFC.

He shouldn't be allowed back unless he agrees to drop the 'Barncat' nickname.

Not sure they want to put him on Fox without some plugs

I vote yes. I've been a big fan of his fighting style, so I'll watch him wherever he fights.

One thing that we should also note that he has really filled out into his frame. He was still quite young when he last left the UFC, and was one of those tall lanky fighters who can often struggle with grapplers. But it seems that his body has developed quite well as he has gotten a bit older, and I'd really like to see him mix it up and see how he goes in the Middleweight division. Let the man bang ffs!

Hell no! Have you actually ever tried to interact with one of these feral animals? They are vicious and have no remorse for anybody or anything. Barncat FTW!

He sure was impressive. Who knows how good he's gotten during the past five years. Looking forward to his next fight. I'd like to see him back in UFC as a MW.

Dustin Hazelett should make a comeback as well. Does anyone know what he's been up to lately?

Sure, they've kept Mousasi around, and this guy will be a hell of a lot cheaper to keep on the roster

Only if he rides in on his mutha fuckin thunderhorse and keeps kicking ass. Of course he should be in the UFC. Love the guy and love his interviews.

Yeah, he could call himself the Pitbull instead. Barncats are tough as hell, and I like the uniqueness of it.

I only ever saw him fight twice back in the day, and both were good wins (I have no recollection over whom). So maybe I am less aware of his down side than I ought to be. Still, I am a fan.

If there was an award for most brutal combo of the year, that dude has it on lock. Watched that fight last week and was not disappointed.
