Ok so while I'm at home what are some good ways to condition shins? I've heard things before like the rolling pin is a bad idea. I'm kind of a dummy when it comes to the this so bare with me.
so once your shins r sore, do you rest them for any amount of time before attempting to make them stronger again? i always find that once they get real sore it takes a few days of no contanct till they feel better
take a round bottle or glass and lightly cover it with cooking oil. roll it up and down your shin while applying pressure. this is a technique thai fighters use over in Thailand. i agree with the other posters that the HB is the best way to go but if you dont have a HB to work at home try my recommendation.
Thanks for the replies. I'll just end up working the heavy bag over some when I'm at the gym. Any idea on how much I should be doing on the heavy bag? Like # of kicks?
apply methyl salicylate to your shins if they're sore. Makes recovery go a lot quicker.
ive never seen anyone do that. Heavy bag is the way to go.
Also commonly referenced as Ben-Gay or Hot N Icy............
the BEST thing to apply to your shins to speed up the recovery time and the hardening process is dit da jow
doing any time of body/limb/hand hardening with out this isnt very smart![]()
