I'm pumped to see Shields dominate Ford. no one seems to really care about this fight, maybe because Shields is roughly a 5 to 1 favorite. How do you think Shields takes this, or do you think ford has a chance

Guillotine

Shields usually makes good fighters look bad, & bad fighters tap.

"Bad" is maybe an exaggeration but I mean, most mid-level to lower fighters.

Shields wins this handily. Can't wait to see him fight Palhares after Fitch gets rekt.

Wait, why is Shields fighting Houston Alexander?

Yea Shields is still a world class fighter, he just faced his worst matchup in Lombard. Palhares vs. Shields could main event a UFC fight night these days lol

Yeah, Shields vs Palhares is one of the best fights that can be made outside of the UFC!

Looking forward to this. I'm surprised there isn't more interest with the UFC on a break. Anyone know how to catch it live in BC? Can only find TSN 2 on tape delay at 9pm.

Does Shields look quite a bit more muscular to anyone else?

If you are referring to the picture above, he does look pretty muscular. He also looks like he is about to compete in a UFC fight based on the background.

UFC 150 as above poster stated. I think Ford has a legit shot to win. Gonna do some more research if the underdog can become victorious like yesterday's card. Warren was about +400.

I'd like to see Ford take it, but Shields probably controls him. Maybe even submits someone for once

From GSP and Hector Lombard to some journeyman ex-con. Huge drop in competition. At least there are two decent opponents for Jake in WSOF (and three if he steps up to MW).

Shields vs Fitch or Palhares would be a good fight, and a rematch with Okami sometime next year would be cool. There are some good fights for Jake at WSOF.

I still think Shields' offensive striking is horrible. The fact that he's so dangerous on the ground prevents fighters from pressuring him on the feet. That's the only explanation I can come up with for why he hasn't been TKO'd more often.
