I've read on Reddit that there are people who don't have sex not just for months ,which should already be worrying ,but for years, and still in marriage.
So what's up with that? Why?
There's a Reddit group, dead bedrooms, I think, where they discuss such cases.
I don't understand , what's the deal there? Usually, men are the ones complaining that their wives aren't into it anymore, or just “trick” them by saying, yeah, we'll do it later, and then nothing happens.
What would be your boiling point where you, as a sherbro, would say, hey, that's it, I'm out .
Note : type of marriage - Married.. with children
Or would you not connect sex with marriage and just stay in the relationship anyway and deal with it?

Different Generation,

HARD to judge..

But seriously, the last generation grew up jerking off to the internet rather then pursuing a living human.

This makes a lot more sense than it doesn’t.

if you're having sex less than once every three weeks, you have a problem, and it's only going to fester and grow. Make an agreement to schedule sex, you're married, it shouldn't be that uncomfortable to work out a schedule and stick with it.

That’s a good amount of time for married and unmarried folks. There is definitely an issue somewhere if you aren’t doing it once in three weeks. Might be health, might be resentment. Who knows?. There is something not right though. That’s for sure.

Late millenials and Genz Z are the one exposed to less sex in marriage....their dopamine rush hit it by watching porn and fantasies....dark times incoming, believe me.

It depends on how old you are.

I'm at the age now where my sexual desires don't drive all my behavior. So we won't have sex for weeks sometimes.

But yeah in my 20's we used to fight because I'd want sex every night and she only wanted it a few times a week.

It's kinda nice not being a slave to my hormones. Now she's the one initiating half the time, which is great. And when I initiate, she never rejects me anymore.

It's like the one part of getting old that I actually like.

I keep hearing this myth that a person's sex drive lowers as they age, I'm still fiending for it if I haven't been laid in a day. Luckily my girl is agreeable but it is a little disheartening when I approach her about it and she gives a 'meh, sure' response.

So 3 weeks should be some kinda of a standard ?

No, I suppose not. Since I don’t really know what most people think and do, it’s kind of hard to say what the standard should truly be.

Seems I just applied my experiences to everyone. That said, three weeks is quite some time without intimacy with your spouse if you are both healthy and attracted to each other imho.

My wife recently suffered multiple pulmonary embolisms. We didn’t have sex after that for about four weeks. After she gave birth to our children she wasn’t supposed to have sex for 6 weeks each time, which we abided by. The longest we’ve gone without having sex that wasn’t due to medical reasons was I think about 3 weeks. I don’t remember exactly why, I think it was just a particularly stressful time for her and she simply wasn’t in the mood.

I think if there was no medical reason for us not having sex my limit would be about a month before I said to her that we’ve got a problem. If there was a medical reason preventing us from having sex then that would be a whole different story and I would just tough it out indefinitely and maybe jerk off to some intimate photos of her that she let me take before she went on a work trip about 6 years ago.

I think a month would be my limit but I'd be asking questions after the first week. If I don't get a response I like I'd probably start making plans to file for divorce. Sex is very important to me and and I want it daily. I made that clear to my wife when we got married and in fact I've made that clear to every women I've ever dated and thankfully they've never had an issue with it.

Obviously if they just aren't feeling it one night, tired, not feeling good etc it is what it is but I'm only hearing that for about a week before I lose my shit. I've known people who only do it once a week or something like that and I think that's crazy.

Considering the number of guys that I have known over the years that have complained that as soon as they got married, the amount of sex that they got went through the floor... I'll give the whole institution a miss, personally. It seems like some women just use it as bait to get that legal commitment.
