I think I see exactly what you mean and I just understood it the wrong way. You considered the title Jon held “meaningless” in the sense of rankings and things like that. And instead of Tom chasing the Jones fight, and kind of kissing ass if I’m being honest, he should have shown himself as the official title holder and proven it with defenses. If that’s what you mean, then I do agree with you 100%. I get it may not be his personality, but if you’re being screwed over so bad by the company you work for and have freedom of speech, you should take that route.
