People forget on their confirmation bias media never brings up Rick Scott’s company stole billions in taxpayer money, so no surprise Rick Scott owns stock in companies he regulates.

Where did I say I was ok with this? I've been pretty clear I don't think they should be able to make such trades. "They" as in all politicians with insider info and power over commerce. I asked the TS what the stocks were, since he was pretty sure they were "companies he regulates", and he couldn't answer because he doesn't know.

It looks like Rick Scott isn't even trading company stocks, but instead buys municipal bonds, which is like the least objectionable way for a senator to invest money.
