And why would Scott Hall not abused himself, perhaps worse, in WWF? He would have been bored and unused like before the jump.

I think the good stuff that WCW did could have easily been done without Hall.
In 1996 he was good, but after that I don't think he was much of a contributor to be honest.
He even made a mockery of the business.

I don’t think you need to drink, smoke crack and roid yourself red to put on a good show and in fact it’s very bad for the wrestling. That’s a different type of abuse to the inring wear tear abuse.

But I do believe they projected a certain level of seriousness by living what they talked. And I don't see that in WWE today.
