This is a question I have in my mind for years. they all cover MMA. They all do the same thing so why need to maintain three sites for same thing?

Yes I know they were separate entities before SB nation went on a blog buying spree. Yes I know you can make some distinction between them. There are some subtle differences Bloody Elbow is known for their serious in depth article & analysis & they use to cover areas that others don't. MMA fighting is more of a news site with actual reporting & mania is a rumour mill. Elbow has the most educated fanbase but lately it seems to be a hivemind consisting SJWs & cuckolds. Fighting & Mania are mostly JBG fans. But at the end of the day there isn't much difference. So why spend more money on running three separate sites when you could have had everyone under the same roof?

They are all liberal shit holes to varying degrees.

BloodyElbow is run by "SJWs and cuckolds" so maybe that's why they attract that crowd? They have an Egyptian guy (not Russian) whose sole job is to write hit pieces about Russia. Half of them don't even have anything to do with sport. The dude is obsessed!

Makes it seem like the country is nothing besides crime and corruption, and that Russians can't afford tickets so UFC should never do a show there....as if Russia or its purchasing power is any worse than Brazil, its not.

mmajunkie = TMZ of mma world
bloodyelbow in my opinion the most professional site there (like heavy hands podcast with Patrick Wyman and Connor Ruebusch)
mmafighting mix of both (like sensitive ariel and ariel the investigator)

I think you are talking about Karim Zidan. Yeah that dude seems obsessed about Russia.

Why we have MMA, Boxing, MT and KB when we could have had everyone under the same roof (human cockfighting)?

Despite all the overblown bullshit he's spewed and fear peddling, it that piece about how the Russian economy sucks and they can't afford tickets still baffles my mind....Its like UFC has never done shows in Brazil or what? Its not the average person going to UFC shows there, its people who can afford it. Russia would be no different.

Besides, it seems they can all afford vodka and adidas

I used to read bloodyelbow all the time until a few years ago when it became less about fighting and more about the politics surrounding it.

I don't care about the dramatics surrounding MMA quite honestly. I just want to read about what fights are happening, fight breakdowns. REAL dramatic MMA news that relates to the sport as a whole like Jon Jones testing positive for steroids.

I don't give a shit about why a nobody like Covington is racist, and whatever conclusion some pseudo arm chair psychologist loser who just blogs about MMA fighters lives all day has come to. I come to Sherdog to laugh at, I don't want to read it from an MMA blog that's supposed to be taken some what seriously.

You touched upon it yourself, they each have a different approach and so appeal to a different fanbase.
Beer, Whiskey & Wine will all get you drunk but each attracts a different clientele and they are simply trying to cater to all of the above.

mmamania values freedom of speech, probably alot of Trump voters, conservatives, independents and libertarians there

bloodyelbow hates freedom of speech, all Hillary and Sanders voters, hardcore SJW leftist groupthink circlejerk

mmafighting is in between but leans toward the direction of bloodyelbow

mmajunkie I just cant stand its new shitty site layout and never go there anymore

bjpenn.com is da bess :p
