As much as I would like a good young boxer to come up in the ranks, Horn's head butts negated anything his win may have achieved. That isn't boxing.
There's a boxing discussion, where people talk about boxing, you should have posted this there.
Manny caught him and pummeled in that round. Horn recovered well (primarily because Manny looked spent and couldn't further capitalize). I had Manny ahead at that point and ultimately winning the fight, but it wasn't a blow out up to that point or anything.Isn't this how it always ends? The old boxer quits training like he should. Rust starts building. And he loses to someone that he maybe could have beaten earlier in his career with almost one hand. Old boxers go out with a whimper, not a roar.
I haven't watched it but the highlights show the ref asking Horn if he wants to quit the fight two rounds from the end. I don't think this went as planned. Why the hell is the ref asking a question like that if he is winning the fight?
Manny has always been an overrated can. He's made his career behind 3 controversial wins agains Marquez so don't care that he lost to Horn.
He's used and abused by friends and family. His $ is waning.God, I can't believe Manny is still fighting after all the wars he has been in. What a legend.

I was rooting for him, but he didn't out point Pacquiao (head butts or no head butts). That was a robbery by bias judges. As much as I would like a good young boxer to come up in the ranks, Horn's head butts negated anything his win may have achieved. That isn't boxing.
