Sasha and Naomi Walkout - Work or Shoot

So most of you have probably heard by now, Banks and Naomi walked out of Raw due to creative differences.

word is they didn't like how their tag championship was being treated, sounds like plans were to focus on them as singles for a bit while the belts were on ice, and Naomi and Sasha would each be doing solo programs against the Raw and SD women's champs. Sounds like most of the heat is on Sasha.

There's been rumors of her being unhappy before, and some rumor that Naomi may go with the Bloodline recently.

so, it's this all a work, is it a shoot, or something in between? I was leaning shoot until WWE put out their announcements.

Mercedes's frustrations with WWE have been very public since after taking time off after Wrestlemania a few years ago.



The only question is if she'll go over to AEW, become an actress in Hollywood, or perhaps retire and have a family.

As for Naomi, I have no idea for her reasons for walking out. Her level of talent is no where close to Mercedes's level so I'm thinking her options may be limited especially because she walked out, when I don't think that'd hurt Mercedes as much.

Imagine being one of the WWE's most promoted tag teams, and hearing your wife (who you probably helped get a contract) just walked out on Vince.

Kinda reminds me of when CM Punk walked out on Vince, and AJ Lee must have known her days in the promotion were numbered so she quit after Wrestlemania.

that marriage and the rumors of her joining the bloodline right before this are what some seem to be using to say this might all be an angle, but I don't see it.

walking out of Raw and giving up the belts to ultimately switch shows and go heel with the family's squad sounds like something that might've happened in another era, but I don't think wwe creative is good enough to think of that anymore.

No idea where this "Sasha is going to Hollywood" thing comes from. She was basically a glorified extra on the Mandalorian and displayed basically zero acting talent. I don't think that's as big of an option for her as her fans want to think it is.

AEW would snatch her up in a second though.
