I feel bad for these guys. The writing's on the wall

They make healthy meals that are delicious, decent portions and cheap

Even cheaper than McDonalds. I always spend less when I go there than when I go to McDs.

Here's their menu

Never ate there before.
Usually niche fast food places don't last long.
I remember a vegan chain & falafel sandwich shop closing down early too.

I don't really eat fast food anymore (unless you count my drunken visit once every week or two to my local taco truck), but I can't help but feel like a fast food salad place is probably a bad business model. Like, I can get a bag of mixed greens, some chicken breast, some olive oil, some balsamic vinegar, and maybe some quinoa or some other type of whole grain and meal prep my lunches for a week for about the same office as one of their salads. In fact, that's pretty much exactly what I do. People don't go to fast food joints for cold healthy food. They want hot fat fuck food. If it was hot healthy food, there might be a market for it, but salads? Absolutely not

chopped leaf sells salad bowls n wraps and they been doin alright as far as i know. love the sunshine salad and santa fe salad, they have other good salads on their menu too. love chopped leaf.

Bummer, that place is actually pretty good. Their wraps are the size of a chipotle burrito filled with chicken and veggies and it's cheaper than the junk food fast food places. They close down while bullshit places like Panera serving hospital food to chubby women stay open.

I'm not going out of my way to get a frickin' salad. I won't even get one if offered as a side at a steakhouse. I just want a steak with a side of steak.

I really like panera. high quality stuff, atleast here in canada, but ludocrisly expensive, 15 dollars for a half sandwhich and a side

I keep thinking that so many Americans like to complain, and rightfully so, about how expensive health care has become. Yet most Americans don't do much to stay in shape and eat well so they can avoid going to their local hospital. Eating healthier, such as fast food salads might help to lower health care costs in the US.

With that said, i can remember reading about what happened after a doctor asked his patients to stop consuming milk products. Most agreed and stopped eating dairy. The doctor was pleased to see a huge drop in the number of his patients needing admission to the local hospital for various treatments. I forget the actual numbers but it was something along the lines of 100 patients a year would need to be admitted to the hospital on average that consumed milk. After his patients stopped eating dairy only around 10 patients a year needed hospital treatments.

With people in asians countries typically not consuming much milk diary products, and typically being healthier with lower health care costs, I've thought maybe it is the avoidance of milk products that is the cause of that.

I read that mention about the doctor asking patients to stop consuming milk in this book ~
