Garcia has yet to accomplish anything of note aside from the ridiculous amount of preteen girls following him on Instagram.

Looking forward to seeing how well he would do against Tank, if/when that happens, but I’m not sold on him just yet.

He should establish himself in boxing before attempting to cross over and potentially bringing down his stock value.
 
Cejudo would make him do an Art Jimmerson impression in about 3 minutes.
 
A one and done Kickboxing match would be good with me...love seeing boxers get kicked in the legs.

Ryan Garcia would make Cejudo look like Bethe Correia, the injured Beth Correia.

I would not take this offer if I was Cejudo unless he gets paid really well. Cejudo is rather over-rated on Sherdog.

Oscar De La Hoya Jr, except the hype is less warranted.
 
Good move for Ryan Garcia. He is really young and could use the promotion.

Henry should take it too. Even if they only box and never fight in MMA. Paycheck!

Of course he’s interested he has no name and wants to build it. Boxing is dying, mma guys should stop giving it attention
 
At first when i heard this it sounded ridiculous.

But there's always the money factor with Boxing, so there's a possibility..... Until i read that Garcia makes roughly the same as what Cejudo makes per fight.

What would be the point if that's the case?
McGregor Mayweather made sense because they were both essentially household names and they both got paid retirement level money, not to mention Conor was able to make people believe he stood a chance.
With this fight though, I don't believe either stands a hope in hell outside of their respective worlds. Cejudo is nowhere near a competent enough striker and Garcia is only 21 and his Wiki doesn't list a lifetime of wrestling experience.
These fights just wouldn't be competitive enough. Cejudo out cold in the centre of the boxing ring and Garcia most likely wakes up to Cejudo sitting on his chest punching him in the teeth
 
People seriously don’t know who he is?

He’s a bigger name than Cejudo, imo.
